For My Patients

Michael Hochman, MD, MPH

Dear Patients,

It has been a true honor to care for you during my time at Keck Medicine of USC. I have accepted a new position to direct a medical group focused on the care of patients experiencing homelessness. While I am excited about this new role, it is bittersweet, since it means I can no longer practice at USC after my last day on July 31, 2021. I wish there were a way in which I could continue seeing my USC patients!

To help you in your transition to a new physician, I have partnered with a vendor to conduct telemedicine visits (video visits) in case questions or active issues arise. Many — but not all — insurance providers will cover these televisits (though you may be subject to a co-pay). Beginning in August, I will post my availability here on this website so that you may schedule a videovisit with me if need be. I will also provide a scheduling link.

I am privileged to have had the opportunity to work with each of you, and I wish you the best of health. I hope our paths will continue to cross!

Sincerely,

Michael Hochman, MD

P.S.- I now have a podcast on general health topics, called the Health Skeptic, MD
